The education is a one year period, and after graduating, the students will receive the Danish Badminton Associations DBF3 diploma, which is the highest degree you can achieve taking this kind of education in Denmark. The course will be taught in English, and the students work intensively with technical, tactical, physical and mental demands for badminton on all levels. Analyzing and coaching badminton in all 5 disciplines will be an important part of the education, as well as developing technical and tactical exercises for single and doubles.
As part of the course, the students will attend Denmark Open and All England Open on study trips, where a number of projects will be worked on. Apart from the badminton-related lessons, the students will receive lessons in areas such as physiology, anatomy, psychology, educational theory, testing and nutrition.
After graduating in these topics, the students will receive the Danish Sports Association’s diploma, which is registered on level 3 in the European education system.
In and around Aalborg there is a large number of badminton clubs on different levels and students have the possibility to play badminton themselves, while taking the education.
Students stay at the school in 1 or 2 person apartments, and all meals are included in the price of the stay. This price is 150 euros per week, and this includes as mentioned all lessons, apartment and 6 meals a day. The students must also expect to pay for the trips abroad and some expenses related to the lessons.
There are no specific demands for starting the education as long as students have experiences either as players or coaches.
